This exquisite buttoned leather wingback armchair comes from England and was made around 1960. The green leather has developed a wonderful patina over the years and the piece is in great condition. There is some normal minimal wear, the most of which is some crinkling in the leather on the arms (which is normal for leather of this age) and minor scuffs throughout the piece. The mahogany frame is very sturdy and the legs have been ebonized. The legs are a Queen Anne style and are perfectly proportioned to the piece. Brass brads hold the buttoned leather tight up the arms and wings of the chair. The cushion is still quite plush and the chair is very comfortable. Whether in a home or office setting, this chair would be perfect for any situation!
